Food Vendor Services Intern

Description: The Food Vendor Services Intern will assist Festival staff with various aspects of the food vendor program, including but not limited to: participating in the food vendor selection process, updating food vendor files, preparing and distributing informational packets, assisting with clerical work (phone calls, photocopying, etc), providing assistance to food vendors during set up and over the course of the Festival, coordinating volunteers to distribute ice to food vendors and ice and water to backstage hospitality areas as needed, helping with the food vendor survey process.  Detailed Job Description

Hours: Hours will vary between March and August.  During the Festival, the Food Vendor Services Intern must be available Wednesday, August 25th in the early evening, Thursday August 26th from 8am-7pm, Friday August 27th from 7am to 1am, Saturday August 28th from 7am to 1am and Sunday August 29 from 9am to 8pm.

Salary: An honorarium TBD will be granted at the conclusion of this internship.

Website Services Intern

Description: The Website Services Intern will assist Festival staff with the maintenance of the Festival's web presence, including but not limited to: updating website content as needed - general information, sponsor logos and names, and performer content (photographs, biographical information and website links).  Duties will also include developing and implementing a plan to use social media sites (twitter, facebook, youtube, blogs, etc) to promote the Festival, encourage donations, educate and update Festival fans.  Detailed Job Description

Hours: Hours will vary between March and August

* The Website Intern must be able to provide their own computer.  It is preferred that the work be done off-site, but office space at 40 Harlow Street in Bangor might be available if needed. 

Salary: This is a volunteer internship.
