2011 Individual Volunteer Application Form

Thank you for offering to share your time and talents with the American Folk Festival as a volunteer! To join in the fun and help make the Festival happen, please fill out this application form. If you are a family, looking to volunteer together in the same area, we now have a family volunteer application form.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer without a guardian. Volunteers under the age of 16 are welcome to volunteer with a guardian in the Bucket Brigade.

We will be accepting volunteer applications until August 22, 2011.

 

We would prefer to communicate with you by email. We'll send schedule info, volunteer & festival updates. Your email will NOT be shared with anyone outside the Festival. Please add debbi@americanfolkfestival.com as a safe sender.

Please note: We do our best to order the correct number and size of volunteer t-shirts, but the volunteer t-shirt order must be placed before all of our volunteers have registered. *If you live over 30 minutes outside of Bangor you can pick up your t-shirt at orientation or at the Festival. **For all other volunteers - plan on picking up your shirt prior to the Festival. Details will be included with your schedule information.

I understand that: 1) Completion of this application does not indicate whether there are any positions currently open. 2) The American Folk Festival will make every effort to match me with the area(s) I requested, but may not always be able to do so. 3) The Folk Festival reserves the right to decline any volunteer application. 4) My file will be kept confidential. 5) If I am scheduled to volunteer, I will wear the official Festival volunteer shirt during all of my volunteer shifts.
